Noah Dewar has worked at the intersection of machine learning and geophysics on high-dimensional subsurface problems for over a decade. He studied Physics at McGill University and holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Geophysics from Stanford. Noah Dewar has published extensive research on data-driven methodologies for the use of near-surface geophysical methods and is now the chief technology officer of HighTide Intelligence, a flood risk data and analytics startup based in Florida. HighTide's mission is to enable coastal communities to continue to live near the ocean by providing them the data and solutions they need to both understand and take action to reduce their coastal flood risk.
