This post-convention workshop picks up where the special sessions leave off. This workshop will focus on gaps and challenges integrating the geosciences into global sustainability projects and initiatives. Specifically, methods to ensure the geosciences are actively introduced into project workflows and the beneficial outcomes are highlighted to continue to promote contributions. Additionally, there will be an emphasis on identifying specific areas for the geosciences community to target for promotion to students and early career professionals.
