In this workshop we would like to review the recent advancements in generative AI in general and discuss their potentials in making geoscience workflows better, faster and more affordable. It will start with an introductory talk on what is generative AI, its evolution, and its recent advancements as well as successful (can be non-geoscience) applications, be followed by a few technical presentations, and end with a panel to discuss on its application for our geoscience (including both geophysics and geology).
