Hands on field experiences are vital to the effective education and training of undergraduate and graduate geophysics students. Panelists will discuss lessons learned from established geophysics field camps that provide unique training opportunities for a diverse body of students. The panel will pay tribute to Louise Pellerin, a devoted near surface geophysicist and advocate for student professional development through the field learning experience.
