Courtney is a native Houstonian and serves as the global co-leader for the LGBT+Allies Employee Resource Group at Schlumberger. For the past 10 years she has been a project manager and geophysicist in the Digital & Integration division at Schlumberger. It was at the University of Houston where she grew her desire to serve her community by pushing for policies that would foster equity and inclusion for the student population. Since graduating in 2012, she has volunteered in her community through the United Way, Houston Area Women’s Center, Houston Food Bank, Houston Marathon, and the Montrose Center. In 2020, a group began to form at Schlumberger to provide support to LGBT+ employees and encourage allyship amongst the company and she immediately signed up as a volunteer. The group has since become a formally recognized employee resource group at Schlumberger and has over 800 members in 45 countries.
