Derrick Dasenbrock, is a geotechnical engineer with the US DOT Federal Highway Administration’s Resource Center, joining them in April of 2020. Derrick has authored numerous case history papers related to site investigation and foundation performance. He is actively engaged in projects related to advanced site characterization, geotechnical data interoperability, and visualization with organizations including TRB, DFI, and the ASCE Geo-Institute (GI). He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Minnesota, a Diplomate of Geotechnical Engineering, an ASCE Fellow, and currently serves as the Chair of the GI’s Technical Coordination Council and the TRB Standing Committee on Geotechnical Instrumentation and Modeling.
