Drew Bishop
Andrew W. (Drew) Bishop is the Guyana Development Manger within ExxonMobil Upstream. The Guyana business unit is one of the largest and most strategic for ExxonMobil’s long term growth and profitability. Drew and his team of 120 professionals develop the strategies and tactical plans to maximize value from the ever growing 10+ GOEB resource base. Drew moved to the Guyana team from a similar role in 2021 as the Development Manager for ExxonMobil’s U.S. Permian assets.

Prior to taking these Development Mangers roles, he served as the Senior Advisor for Opportunity Evaluation within ExxonMobil Corporation, living in Dallas, TX. In this role he supported the Chairman, Management Committee (MC) and business lines in major decisions related to investments, divestments and acquisitions.

Before moving to Dallas, Drew was the Global Upstream Development Planning Manager: Deepwater where he directed the development concepts for major projects around the world. Linked to this role, he spent a short while as the Brazil E&P Manager in the Mergers & Acquisitions organization.

Throughout his 23 year career with ExxonMobil, he has held a variety of business and technical leadership roles both domestically and internationally (Australia, Angola, Norway, and United Kingdom).

Drew is a Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Mining and Minerals Engineering; currently serving on the department’s advisory board. He’s been an active member in the community coaching little league baseball along with prior roles in Big Brothers/Big Sisters and Boy Scouts of America.

Drew and his wife Deborah are based in The Woodlands, Texas where they are raising their two boys, William and Thomas.
