Jay McEntire is CEO and Co-Founder of Arva Intelligence Corp. a technology B-Corp that seamlessly connects agriculture with environmental markets through big data and AI. Arva’s technology provides growers and manufacturers intelligent, data-driven recommendations to match genetics and fertility by environment, verify and quantity carbon intensity of agricultural practices and originate high quality, data-backed environmental offset credits.

Arva is also active in advancing the science behind agriculture’s GHG drawdown potential as an ARPA-E SMARTFARM lead monitoring GHG and carbon cycling in corn and rice crops for the Department of Energy. This research supports GHG reduction opportunities in support the of net negative biofuel economy.

Jay’s background combines a successful track record as CEO of trading and financial risk management software companies combined with experience in banking and energy. In addition to serving as CEO of Arva Intelligence Corp., Jay serves as Manager of Glennoe Farmland Partners, LLC and Chairman of Utah Gas Corp.

Jay has a BSBA in Finance from University of Arkansas, attended the Universität Salzburg, Austria, and Harvard Business School’s Advanced Management Program.

He is married with four children.
