Leonardo Caixeta is Exploration Manager in TotalEnergies in charge of activities on Blocks 6, 8 and 58 in Suriname. Geologist by background he started his carrier in Brazil, accumulating more than 15 years' experience in oil and gas exploration on different sedimentary basins in North and South America, Black and Caspian Seas. Along his path he had the opportunity to work on prolific plays such as the Pre-salt carbonates in Brazil and more recently with the Cretaceous turbidites in Suriname.
