Tim graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Auburn University and master’s in Electrical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology after which he joined Shell in Houston in early 1993.
While at Shell Tim has had various technical and leadership roles in seismic processing, seismic acquisition, and technical software development in both the Netherlands and the US. Currently, Tim is the general manager for the Geophysics West department in Shell, responsible for all seismic and geomatics data acquisition and seismic data processing for the Western Hemisphere, particularly the Gulf of Mexico.
