Victor Fakeye is a Master’s student in Geology at Oklahoma State University, Stillwater. He holds a B.Tech in Applied Geology from the Federal University of Technology Akure, Nigeria. For his Master’s thesis, Victor is assessing potential CO₂ storage locations in STACK Play, Anadarko Basin. He will be joining Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, California, as a graduate summer intern where he will be building geologic models for potential underground hydrogen storage sites and carrying out reservoir simulation to support modelling studies. Victor currently serves as the Secretary of AAPG and SEG Student Chapters at Oklahoma State University and Vice-President of AIPG Student Chapter at OSU. He has strong interests in low carbon solutions, enhanced oil recovery, and in designing innovative industry solutions for energy companies to optimize efficiency and transform legacy operations. Victor is very passionate about the development of clean energy technologies, especially in emerging economies.
