William looks after TotalEnergies Exploration activity in Southern and Eastern Africa including Namibia, South Africa, Mozambique, Kenya and Uganda. He has been significantly involved in New Ventures along with recent operations in Southern Africa while also working on Eastern Africa including Uganda and Mozambique.

William has worked some 21 years for TotalEnergies in a variety of global positions throughout E&P. Previously he held roles leading PNG Exploration and New Ventures as well as being responsible for SE Asian New Ventures. Formerly he has held a variety of positions, both from a global portfolio and New Business position in Paris and locally in Congo and Nigeria. William has also held positions in the Middle East and throughout Europe ranging from Exploration to Field Development, Operations as well as Research and Development. William holds an MSci in Petroleum Geoscience from Imperial College London.
