Adriano has a diversified background on E&P activities in Petrobras. Presently, he is attached to Petrobras Academy focusing on the development and implementation of training opportunities that broaden and increment technical and personal skills of the Exploration teams. Earlier he leaded the Multiphysics Group at Exploration Dept., the Applied Technologies and the Geological Special Studies teams of the Libra Project (Santos Basin pre-salt field), and the Technological Program of Exploration Frontiers at the Petrobras R&D center, CENPES. Formerly, Adriano was directly involved in the discovery of the pre-salt province. He was also responsible for the implementation of the Marine Geology division in Petrobras. Adriano has a bachelor’s degree in Geology and PhD degree in sedimentology and marine geology.
