Arpana Sarkar is Principal Reservoir Petrophysicist with SLB with more than 22 years of professional experience in integrated subsurface characterization in frontier exploration, field development planning, unconventional reservoir characterization, CCUS and gas storage projects. She is expert in multiwell multiscale well characterization, core log seismic integration, sonic and magnetic resonance integration, rockphysics evaluation, property modeling and geomechanics in the oil and gas development as well as gas storage monitoring. She holds US patent and has publications in SPE and SPWLA and awards on her name. She is active SPE mentor, SPE judge and taught integrated petrophysics, geomechanics in universities and also judging PHD thesis. Arpana received her M.Sc.Tech in Applied Geophysics from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT-ISM), Dhanbad, India in year 2000.
