Cheryl Collarini holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from MIT and an MBA from the University of New Orleans. She began her career with Mobil Oil designing offshore platforms, then later in production and reservoir engineering. She formed Collarini Engineering in 1985 to conduct reserve appraisals and integrated field studies. Mobil, and ExxonMobil, engaged her to author and teach petroleum economics courses for over 18 years. She also founded and remains Chairman of Collarini Energy Staffing to provide upstream professionals, temporary and fulltime, to customers globally. Since 2003, she has been a partner in Explore Enterprises as VP Engineering, acquiring and exploiting offshore, partner and CEO of Etroa Resources, an E&P company with Gulf coast interests, and as owner of Collarini Energy Experts and DGC Energy, which consults in petroleum engineering and invests in oil and gas projects, respectively.
