Mohammed Alaskar
Mohammed Alaskar is the Director of R&D, Aramco Americas. Prior to that, Mohammed was the Chief Technologist of Strategic Technology Analysis Division at Saudi Aramco Upstream Advanced Research Center, and the COO of Saudi Aramco Upstream Technology Company (SAUTC). He has also assumed other leadership positions as an assistant to Vice President of Petroleum Engineering & Development, and acted as the division head of Production Planning of Upstream Development Strategies and Reserves. Mohammed has joined several organizations within Saudi Aramco, with various responsibilities including engineering consulting services, business and investment planning, development drilling capital appropriation, and field operations. Mohammed has several journal publications and conference proceedings, and is actively participating in professional societies, recent of which are IPTC 2022 SPE Subcommittee Chair, AIDPEC 2021, IPTC 2020 and MEOS 2020 Technical Committees. Mohammed received B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Mineral, M.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Material Science from University of Southern California, and Ph.D. degree in Energy Resources Engineering and nanotechnology applications from Stanford University, with technical expertise in nanomaterials transport in porous media.
