Mohsen Ahmadian, Ph.D., has been a program manager and scientist at the Bureau of Economic Geology at The University of Texas/Austin since 2010. He has over 25 years of multi-disciplinary experience in life sciences, semiconductor, nanotechnology, and the energy sector. He is currently the co-principal investigator of the Advanced Energy Consortium, managing a $50M+ research program in nanotechnology, focused on developing micro and nanosensors and smart materials that promise to transform the remote monitoring of subsurface processes for environmental health, safety, energy security, structural integrity, and the quest for breakthrough alternative energy solutions.
