Remus Lazar has decades of experience in the research, exploration, and hydrocarbon production of fine-grained sedimentary rocks. He taught both in the field and in class (e.g., ExxonMobil, SEPM, AAPG) focusing on what drives business decisions through the integrated characterization, interpretation, and prediction of the quality and distribution of mudstones as sources, reservoirs, and seals of hydrocarbons.
