Priyank Jaiswal is a professor of Geophysics with expertise in controlled-source seismology. He has extensively worked on recording, processing, and interpreting land and marine seismic data to understand geological targets. He teaches seismic exploration and natural hazards at both graduate and undergraduate levels. His research spans a broad range of topics advancing innovative applications of geophysical techniques appropriate for imaging the earth at various resolutions. He is the director of a professional master's program that aims to retool working professionals in energy geosciences. He was recently awarded the prestigious Vajra fellowship by the Govt. of India for near-surface geophysical research.
