Dr. Priyank Jaiswal is a Professor at the Boone Pickens School of Geology, Oklahoma State University. He received his Ph.D. from Rice University in 2008 in Geophysics with an emphasis on controlled-source seismology. His research focuses on subsurface seismic characterization for hydrocarbon exploration and carbon storage, and, to date, has resulted in over USD 4M in extramural grants, 3 patents, and 75+ peer-reviewed research articles, book chapters, and conference proceedings. He teaches seismic exploration and natural hazards at both graduate and undergraduate levels.
