Melissa is principal geologist at Haas and Cobb Petroleum Consultants where she assists clients with A&D, development plans, CCUS, and reserves reporting needs. Beginning her career at ExxonMobil, Melissa then transitioned to consulting with NSAI. She has worked most US basins and several international basins and enjoys sequence stratigraphy, mapping, seismic interpretation, petrophysics, and modeling. With an MS in geological engineering and a BS in environmental geology; a strong background in oil and gas and recent focus on CCUS and carbon credits, Melissa’s used to straddling lots of lines. She enjoys helping clients profit whether they choose to produce or not produce their acreage.
